Celebrate the hops harvest! The Hop Pickers’ Picnic, an annual evening pure fun, features hand-crafted and micro-brewed beer sampling, live music, food, hop picking and hops-related demonstrations from 6-9pm. Breweries from the upstate New York region submit their best brews for tasting and judging, including  Brewery Ommegang, Cooperstown Brewing Company, Brown’s Brewing Company, and Anheuser Busch’s specialty line. Brats, hamburgers and hot dogs will be available for purchase, or guests may choose to reserve a hop pickers’ picnic basket in advance, or bring their own picnic. Admission, which includes beer sampling, music, and hops-related demonstrations, is $15 for adults 21 and over, $7.50 for ages 6–20, and free for children 5 and under.
